Motorola has had a busy few weeks in India, launching several Moto G series phones as well as a mid-range tablet. The Moto Edge 30 Pro smartphone is set to launch in India and the rest of the world soon, indicating that the company is shifting its focus to the premium market. The Moto Edge X30, which was released in China in December, will most likely be rebranded as the Edge 30 Pro.
India and global launch dates for the Moto Edge 30 Pro have been tipped
According to 91mobiles, the Moto Edge 30 Pro will be released in February. While no official release date has been announced, tipster Mukul Sharma claims that the device will be available in February in both India and the rest of the world. The Moto Edge 30 Pro was discovered on the NBTC database earlier this month, and because the Edge 30 Pro and MotoEdge X30 share the same model number, the Edge 30 Pro could have the same features as the MotoEdge X30.
According to previous leaks, the Moto Edge 30 Pro, like the MotoEdge X30, will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with up to 12GB of RAM. Android 12 will be pre-installed on the device. The Edge 30 Pro is expected to have a 6.7-inch FHD+ 10-bit POLED display with a 576Hz touch sampling rate, 700nits peak brightness, and 144Hz refresh rate.
A triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth lens is expected on the Edge 30 Pro. For selfies and video calls, it has a front-facing 60MP camera. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device and supports 68W fast charging.
