Moto G71 5G launched in India with Snapdragon 695 5G SoC and 6.4-inch AMOLED Display

Motorola has launched the Moto G71 5G, a new G-series handset in India. The Moto G71 was released a few months ago in international markets. It’s the first Snapdragon 695-powered device in the country. The Moot G71 5G has a 5,000mAh battery, a large OLED display, and a 50-megapixel camera.

The Moto G71 5G comes in only one storage-memory configuration: 6GB + 128GB. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart in India beginning January 19 for Rs 18,999.

Specifications and features of the Moto G71 5G

A 6.4-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a pixel density of 409ppi, and a 20:9 aspect ratio is featured on the Moto G71. The display has a standard 60Hz refresh rate and a brightness of up to 700nits. The front camera is housed in a punch-hole notch, which contributes to the device’s 88.8 percent screen-to-body ratio.

The Moto G71 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 octa-core processor. The Snapdragon 695 is made in a 6nm process and has an Adreno 619 GPU. The handset comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. A micro-SD card slot is also included, allowing users to expand their storage even further.

The Moto G71 has a triple-camera setup on the back, as well as an LED flash. The primary sensor on the G71 is a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and Quad pixel technology. It also has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 118-degree field of view and an f/2.2 aperture, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 118-degree field of view. There’s also a macro vision camera with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, it has a 16MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Moto G71 has a 5,000mAh battery and can charge at a rate of 33W. The phone has a Type-C charging port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a fingerprint scanner on the back, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, and a dedicated Google Assistant button. The phone has Android 11 installed. Motorola will update the G71 to Android 12 and provide quarterly security patch updates for the next two years.

The Moto G71 comes in two colours: Neptune Green and Arctic Blue. The handset measures 161.19 x 73.87 x 8.49mm and weighs 179 grams. The 13 5G bands supported are N1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, n77, and n78. Other connectivity options include 4G, Dual Sim, Dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and GPS.
