GTA VI could be released in 2024, according to a new report

Following Take-$12.7 Two’s billion purchase of Zynga, the company released a financial forecast that may have just given away the biggest GTA VI spoiler yet. According to stock analysts, Take-Two is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 14% through 2024.

This essentially means that Rockstar Games and Take-Two will have at least one major Rockstar IP ready for release by FY 2024, according to Axios and industry analysts. An analyst from Jefferies told Axios the following about GTA VI, Rockstar Games, and Take-Two:

“Only a few titles can… give management the confidence to issue such strong guidance,” the analyst said. “We believe at least one Rockstar IP will be released by FY24.”

According to new reports, GTA VI could be released in FY 2024

According to industry analysts, Take-Two has previously hinted at the release of Rockstar’s biggest blockbusters by announcing increased revenue expectations for specific timeframes. Take-Two is teasing a major Rockstar game, most likely GTA VI, for release in FY 2024, according to this.

Take-Two followed a similar pattern with GTA V, which came out in 2013. GTA V would be released between 2012 and 2013, according to the company’s financial targets announced in 2011. Following that, the company lowered the targets, indicating a postponement. Consoles received the game in 2013.

While this isn’t official Take-Two communication, it’s the most significant amount of GTA VI information we’ve had in a long time. We can expect a trailer or some sort of announcement towards the end of 2022 or early 2023 if Rockstar truly intends to release Grand Theft Auto VI by FY 2024.
