The design renders of the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone have been leaked by tipster OnLeaks and Zouton.

Xiaomi’s 12 series is expected to debut in December 2021. The entry-level offering variant’s design renders have leaked online ahead of the rumored launch. The Mi 11’s successor will be completely redesigned. Its rear camera module has a triple-camera setup. The LED flash is hidden behind a large circular cutout that sits on top of two smaller ones. The camera module is elevated from the back panel by a few millimeters.
The specifications of the rear camera sensors are currently unknown. Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship device is rumored to have a 50MP main camera sensor, according to the internet. It’s unclear whether the sensor mentioned will be included in the vanilla 12.
In the front, there is a hole-punch display. The cutout is in the display’s top right corner. According to leaked design renders, the device will have a curved 6.2-inch AMOLED display. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. According to the report, the device also has an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, the device is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It is said to have a 5000 mAh battery and 100W fast charging via USB Type-C. The device will also support wireless charging, according to the leaked information. It will come in three colours: Black, White, and Gold, and will be 152.7 x 70.0 x 8.6mm in size.
