Xiaomi 12 Lite and Xiaomi 12 Lite Zoom specifications have surfaced

In China, Xiaomi is preparing to release the Xiaomi 12 series of phones. Xiaomi is expected to release the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, and Xiaomi 12 Pro smartphones in its home market on December 28th. The Xiaomi 12 series will be no exception, as the Chinese company releases a less expensive Lite variant of most of its Xiaomi lineups. Xiaomiui recently shared new information on the internet, claiming that the Xiaomi 12 series will include the Xiaomi 12 Lite and Xiaomi 12 Lite Zoom. In March 2022, both handsets are expected to be released.

Xiaomiui recently discovered that the Chinese smartphone behemoth is working on Zijin and Taoyao handsets. Taoyao is the codename for the upcoming 12 Lite, while Zijin is the codename for the rumored 12 Lite Zoom.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite, codenamed Taoyao, has model numbers 2203129G (global variant) and 2203129I (internal variant), according to Xiaomiui (I represents Indian variant). The Mi 12 Lite Zoom, on the other hand, will be available only in China and will have the model number 2203129BC. The IMEI database has discovered both of these phones. In addition to monikers and model numbers, the report revealed key specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi 12 series handsets.

Specifications for the Xiaomi 12 Lite and Xiaomi 12 Lite Zoom have been leaked

The 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED displays on the Mi 12 Lite and Mi 12 Lite Zoom are said to have a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Mi 12 Lite series devices may have an in-display fingerprint scanner, unlike their predecessors. These phones will run MIUI 13 based on Android 12 and be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G or Snapdragon 780G mobile processors, according to Xiaomiui.

A triple rear camera setup with a Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor is said to be included in the Xiaomi Mi 12 Lite series. Auxiliary lenses such as ultra-wide-angle and macro lenses are expected to be used. The specifications and resolutions of the other two sensors have yet to be revealed. These phones, according to Xiaomiui, may have a 3D edge design similar to the Xiaomi Civi.
