Vivo Pad is expected to launch in the first half of 2022, with a Snapdragon 870 SoC

In June of this year, Vivo, a Chinese smartphone company, obtained the Vivo Pad trademark for its first-ever Android tablet. The Vivo Tab is set to debut in the first half of 2022. Last month, the specifications and live images of Vivo’s upcoming tablet were also leaked online. Digital Chat Station, a popular Chinese tipster, has recently revealed key details about the upcoming Vivo Pad.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC will power the Vivo Pad!

According to the Digital Chat station, the Vivo pad will have a high refresh date display. The screen size of the tablet, on the other hand, is still unknown. In addition, the Vivo tablet will have minimal bezels, allowing for a full-screen experience. According to DCS, the tablet’s display will be either an LCD or an AMOLED. The tipster has not revealed the display resolution. A new Android tablet with thin bezels and a high refresh rate is on the way, for what it’s worth.

The Vivo Pad could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core processor. Snapdragon is an improved version of Snapdragon 865+ that is manufactured using a 7nm process. With this processor, the Vivo Pad could compete with Xiaomi’s Mi Pad 5 Pro. The Vivo Pad, according to DCS, could have a software experience similar to the OriginOS for Fold.

An 8,000mAh battery could be included in the Vivo Pad. Unfortunately, the source hasn’t revealed any more details about the upcoming Vivo tablet. However, as the tablet’s release date approaches, we can expect it to appear on other certification websites. In addition to tablets, Vivo is expected to enter the foldables and laptop segments in 2022.
