Early next year, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series is expected to be released. The news isn’t surprising, given that the company’s flagship smartphone is usually unveiled in January or February. The Galaxy S22 series is expected to debut in February rather than January due to a global chip shortage. According to recent reports, the S22 series will premiere on February 8. Samsung has not officially confirmed the rumored launch date at this time. The Galaxy S22’s launch, however, appears to have hit a snag. According to a report by SamMobile, citing South Korea’s Naver, the Galaxy S22’s launch could be postponed.
According to local reports, the company may postpone the launch date of February 8 and the sale date of February 18. Samsung’s new flagship is expected to be released in late February or early March 2022, according to the latest rumors. The delay is being blamed on ongoing supply chain issues, according to reports. Several smartphone brands have been harmed by the ongoing chip shortage. Samsung had to postpone the launch of its budget flagship, the S21 FE, until January 2022 for the same reason.
Due to the delay in the launch of the affordable flagship, the S22 series has been delayed. Samsung’s flagship launch in 2022 is becoming more difficult due to supply chain issues. While the company has remained tight-lipped about the launch, there has been a lot of information about the S22 series leaked.
Specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series
The S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra are expected to be released by Samsung. These three devices will have screens that are 6.1 inches, 6.55 inches, and 6.8 inches, respectively. All three phones will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 SoC, depending on the region. The Ultra model can charge at 45W, while the other two devices can only charge at 25W.
