Xiaomi’s accessory lineup is rapidly growing outside of China. The company has launched new wireless earbuds and smartwatches in some international markets. The Redmi Watch, a new smartwatch, has entered the market. In Europe, the company has launched the Watch 2 Lite. The Redmi smartwatch, a low-cost option, was unveiled in November by China. Only a few weeks after its launch, the device has already reached a few European markets. The Redmi Watch 2 Lite is expected to be released in India soon. However, there is no word on when the game will be released.
The Redmi Watch 2 Lite has been launched
The Xiaomi Redmi Watch 2 Lite is now available in Germany. In India, the budget smartwatch costs €69.99, which is roughly Rs 6,000. Although a “Lite” Redmi Watch costs a little more, it’s worth noting that electronic devices in Europe are subject to high local taxes. In India, the device is expected to be under Rs 5,000.
Specifications and features
The Watch 2 Lite features rounded corners and a classic square design. The bezels around the display are thick, but not as thick as on previous Redmi smartwatches. It features a 1.55-inch touchscreen with a 360 x 320-pixel resolution.
The smartwatch can be used for over 100 different sports, including walking, running, cycling, and swimming. It also has some health and fitness-related features, including heart rate monitoring, SpO2 blood oxygen level monitoring, and a step counter. The smartwatch is equipped with GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and BDS.
Water-resistance is rated at 5ATM for the Redmi Lite smartwatch. It is claimed that a single charge will last up to ten days. The low-cost smartwatch runs on a 252 mAh battery. Black, white, and blue are the three colour options. The smartwatch can be fitted with a variety of straps.
