Oppo’s next Find X-series devices will be released soon. The company confirmed that the next Find X-series devices will include a custom chip developed by the BBK Electronics-owned tech giant at the recent Oppo Inno Day. Oppo’s flagship series could be called Find X4 or X5. A standard Find X4 and a high-end Find X4 Pro are expected to be released by the company. The devices will be available in the first quarter of 2022. While we wait for the official launch date to be announced, new details about the devices have surfaced online.
Specifications for the Oppo Find X4 series of performance units
According to Oppo, the Find X4 series will be released in February or March 2022. The vanilla model, according to a report, could have two processors. According to the tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), the Find X4 series will be released after the Chinese spring festival. The exact launch date is unknown at this time.
MediaTek and Qualcomm’s flagship chips will power the two devices. For the vanilla model, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC has been confirmed, while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset has been confirmed for the Pro model. A third Ultra/Pro+ model is also being discussed. However, no information about this one is currently available.
According to the source, the devices will have standard telephoto camera capabilities. The current set of prototype devices does not include a periscope camera setup. Furthermore, the devices are said to come with support for 80W fast charging pre-installed. This means that the phones will not be compatible with Oppo’s 125W charging technology, which was teased earlier this year.
