Lenovo Legion Y700 Gaming Tablet Launched with 8.8-inch 120Hz Display; Price And Availability Details

A new gaming tablet from Lenovo has been unveiled in China. The latest tablet from the company is part of the Legion series, which is aimed at gamers, particularly those who enjoy mobile games. The tablet has an 8.8-inch display, which is larger than a smartphone, though not the largest. Other features include a high-refresh-rate display, Dolby Atmos, and more. It’s also one of only a few tablets with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor on the horizon. The Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet hasn’t been announced outside of China yet.

Specifications for the Lenovo Legion Y700

The Lenovo Legion Y700, which was just announced in China, will soon be available. The company has not yet released pricing information. The company has only teased the tablet’s display specs and features, rather than announcing the full specs, according to GizmoChina, citing an ITHome report.

The tablet features an 8.8-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600p. The screen has slightly thick bezels on the sides when held horizontally, giving players enough surface to hold the tablet while playing games.

Because it is a gaming tablet, the Legion Y700 supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut. A single rear camera sensor with an LED flash is also included on the tablet. A brushed metal finish, JBL-tuned speakers with Dolby Atmos, and more are included. The tablet is likely to include quad-speakers for a more immersive audio experience.

The specifications of the SoC are still unknown. On the other hand, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC is expected to power the gaming tablet. It’ll most likely come with 8GB/ 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
