Vivo is preparing to release its new tablet. The company intends to release its first tablet in the first half of 2022. In June, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) registered the trademark “Vivo Pad.” The schematics for Vivo’s upcoming tablet had previously leaked. The tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo has recently leaked a few more details about the Vivo Pad. The Vivo Pad will be equipped with a Snapdragon 870 processor, according to the tipster.

The Vivo Pad had also received the necessary TUV Rheinland certification, according to previous leaks. According to TUV Rheinland certification documents, the Vivo Pad will have an 8,040mAh battery. Other details about the Vivo Pad, including its display size, camera configuration, storage options, and design, are currently unknown. As the tablet receives certification from various organizations, more information about the Vivo Pad should become available in the coming months.
In related news, OnePlus and OPPO are planning to release their first tablet. The EUIPO granted OnePlus a trademark for “OnePlus Pad” in July. Other features of the OnePlus Pad, like the Vivo Pad, are currently unknown. The Snapdragon 870 processor is expected to be used in OPPO’s first tablet. Up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage could be included in the OPPO tablet. This upcoming tablet is expected to come pre-installed with Android 11.
An 11-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz is expected on the tablet. For imaging, the OPPO tablet could have a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front camera. The tablets from OPPO and OnePlus are expected to be released next year.
