Despite the lack of official confirmation, the pricing and launch date for the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone has been leaked. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is rumored to be working on a new smartphone called the Realme GT 2 Pro. The rumored smartphone has been making the rounds recently, even though nothing has been confirmed. Last month, the device passed EEC and was added to the IMEI database. As expected, the aforementioned listings reveal some key details about the upcoming handset.

In addition to the Realme GT2 Pro, the Eurasian EEC certification website approved the Realme GT2 Pro, Realme 9 Pro Plus, and Realme 9i last month. Realme deviated from its usual release schedule this year. The Realme X70, X80, and other smartphones are typical of the company’s offerings. However, the Realme GT 5G, a new line of flagship smartphones, was unveiled this year. Regrettably, little information about the newly announced series is available. Thanks to a well-known leaker, we now know more about one of the smartphones in the upcoming lineup.

A Weibo tipster, Digital Chat Station, has revealed the Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone’s pricing and launch details ahead of its launch. The GT 2 Pro will be available in China early next year, according to leaked information. Furthermore, according to the leaker, the handset will cost around CNY 4,000. This is about the same as INR 46,500 and $625. Realme may also release a special variant for around CNY 5,000 (approximately INR 58,000 and $781). The official pricing will be revealed at the launch.

The Realme GT 2 Pro smartphone’s 6.51-inch Super AMOLED display could have a Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) resolution. Furthermore, a punch-hole cutout in the screen will most likely accommodate the front shooter. For biometric authentication, the phone will have an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will have thin bezels, according to previous reports. The screen will have a 20:9 aspect ratio, a high refresh rate, and a pixel density of 404 pixels per inch (PPI).

The Realme GT 2 Pro is expected to have three cameras on the back in terms of optics. This triple rear-mounted camera setup will include a 108MP main camera, an 8MP secondary camera, and a 5MP tertiary snapper. The phone will also feature a 32MP front-facing camera for video calls and selfies. The Snapdragon 888+ 5G chipset powers the phone.

The GT 2 Pro may also include 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The phone is expected to run Android 12, the most recent version of Google’s operating system. A 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast-charging capability will power it. For connectivity, the phone has a Type-C port, a headphone jack, 5G, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, and Wi-Fi.
