Poco M4 Pro 5G Launched with MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, starting price is around Rs 19,600

The successor to the Poco M3 Pro 5G, the Poco M4 Pro 5G, was launched today. The Poco M4 Pro 5G is the first device in the Poco M4 series, and it comes with a faster processor, faster charging, and a better camera setup than the previous model.

Price and Availability of the Poco M4 Pro 5G

The Poco M4 Pro comes in two flavors: a base model with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage costs €229 (roughly Rs 19,600), and a 6GB+128GB model costs €249 (roughly Rs 19,600). (roughly Rs 19,600). Specs and Features of the Poco M4 Pro 5G

Upfront, the Poco M4 Pro 5G has a 6.6-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. There’s also a 240Hz touch sampling rate and DCI-P3 colour for a wider colour gamut. The selfie camera is housed in a punch-hole cut-out on the front of the phone. On the back of the phone is a large camera island, as well as Poco branding. The phone appears to have a quad-camera setup on the back, but it only has a dual-camera system.

The MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, which is manufactured in a 6nm process, powers the device. It’s an eight-core SoC with Arm Cortex-A76 and Arm Cortex-A55 CPU cores, as well as a Mali G57 GPU and a 2.4GHz maximum frequency. There are three different configurations for the phone: 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. The phone has USF 2.2 storage and can accept a microSD card of up to 1TB. Virtual RAM of up to 8GB is also supported by the phone. A 5,000mAh battery powers the Poco M4 Pro, which supports 33W Pro fast charging and can be fully charged in just 59 minutes.

The 50MP main camera on the Poco M4 Pro 5G is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a 119-degree field of view. On the front of the phone is a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The phone also meets IP53 standards for dust and water resistance. MIUI 12.5 is pre-installed on the phone, which is based on Android 11. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, X-axis linear motor, IR blaster, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and dual-speaker setup.

Along with the launch of the M4 Pro 5G, Poco also unveiled a new colour variant of its flagship Poco F3. The Poco F3 now comes in a new “Moonlight Silver” colour option. Except for the paint job, everything else is the same.
