The first trailer for Uncharted, starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, has been released. The film is based on Naughty Dog’s action-adventure PlayStation video game series.
In the trailer, Nathan, played by Tom Holland, is shown going on an adventure to find places that aren’t on the map. But, before we see Nathan’s expedition, we learn why he’s going and how he met his mentor Sally (Wahlberg). We get a closer look at their treasure hunt later on, as well as some exciting action sequences aboard a cargo plane.

According to the official synopsis, “Uncharted introduces audiences to the young street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner Victor “Sully” Sullivan, based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time” (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two embark on a perilous quest for “the greatest treasure never found,” while also tracking clues that could lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.
Uncharted is directed by Ruben Fleischer, who also directed the Zombieland films and the Tom Hardy-starrer Venom. The film also stars Antonio Banderas, Sophia Taylor Ali, and Tati Gabrielle.
