Sony Xperia Pro-I with a 1-inch camera sensor Launched, price starts around $1,800

On Tuesday, Sony unveiled the Xperia Pro-I. A 1-inch Exmor RS CMOS sensor with phase-detection autofocus is featured on Sony’s new flagship smartphone. A dedicated shutter button, as well as Zeiss Tessar, calibrated optics, are located on the right spine of the Sony Xperia Pro-I. The Sony flagship is powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor with 12GB of RAM. Sony has also released a Vlog Monitor that can be used with the Sony Xperia Pro-I as an accessory.

$1,799.99 is the price of the Sony Xperia Pro-I. (roughly Rs. 1.35 lakh). When it becomes available, the Sony Vlog Monitor will cost $199.99. (roughly Rs. 15,000). The Xperia smartphone and Vlog Monitor will be available in Sony’s official retail stores in December. The Xperia Pro-I will be available in only one colour: Frosted Black.

The dual-SIM (Nano) Sony Xperia Pro-I comes with Android 11 pre-installed. The screen is a 6.5-inch 4K HDR (3,840×1,644 pixels) OLED with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 240Hz, a 21:9 aspect ratio, and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The Xperia Pro-I has a triple rear camera setup in terms of optics. A 12-megapixel Exmor RS sensor with a variable aperture range of f/2.0 to f/4.0 and a variable aperture range of f/2.0 to f/4.0 is used as the primary camera. A 12-megapixel 1/2.9-inch Exmor RS sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens and a 12-megapixel 1/2.5-inch Exmor RS sensor with an f/2.2 aperture lens is also included.
