The Moto E40 is the upcoming smartphone from the Lenovo-owned company, as we already know. The smartphone’s price and features were recently revealed on a Romanian retailer’s website. The launch in India has now been confirmed by the company. The exact launch date, however, has yet to be announced.

The company used its social media accounts to post a teaser that confirms the Moto E40’s arrival in the country. The phone’s launch date or timeline are not revealed in the teaser. However, the brand has begun teasing, so we expect the launch to be imminent.
What Can We Expect From The Moto E40?
We now have the detailed features and pricing of the upcoming Moto E40 thanks to a Romanian listing and previous leaks. A 6.5-inch IPS display with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz is expected to be included in the smartphone.
The 8MP selfie camera sensor will be housed in a punch-hole cutout in the top center of the screen. The handset will feature a triple-camera setup with an LED flash on the back, with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor among the camera sensors.
The Unisoc T700 chipset with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage is said to handle the processing. A 4,000mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor on the back, and Android 11 OS are among the other features. The device will come with dual SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C charging port. Finally, the phone is estimated to be 9.14 mm thick and 198 grams in weight.
The Moto E40 is expected to cost 779 Lei (around Rs. 13,700). It’s also possible that it’ll be available in Gold and Grey. Based on this price, we can conclude that the smartphone will be a budget offering that will compete with smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy M32, Realme 8, and others.
