Google Pixel Watch may still be announced on October 19, but launch might get delayed

While we’re all excited for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, another long-awaited Google product, the Pixel Watch, is also getting a lot of attention. The Pixel Watch has been in the works for quite some time, with rumors circulating in 2018 that it would be released alongside the Pixel 3 series. The smartwatch was expected to be released alongside the Pixel 6 series. However, it appears that this is the case. The upcoming smartwatch launch has been postponed yet again, according to a source.

The Google Pixel Watch is once again delayed

According to recent reports, the Google Pixel 6 pair will be unveiled on October 19, but they won’t be the only devices on display. According to AI, a Twitter tipster, several Google products are expected to make an appearance. For a while, the Pixel Fold and Pixel Watch, as well as the Nest speakers, might steal the show.

We’ve heard a lot about the Pixel 6, but not much about the Pixel Watch, and it all makes sense now. According to Max Weinbach, the Pixel Watch may be delayed once more. He previously stated that the Pixel Watch would be released this year, most likely alongside the Pixel 6 smartphone series. Due to a chip shortage, he now believes the watch will be delayed.

He did say, however, that it could be announced alongside the Pixel 6 series and then released later. He is unsure, however, whether the Pixel Watch will be released next year. We’ll have to wait and see what happens as a result.

Back in April, Jon Prosser gave us a sneak peek at the Pixel Watch’s design. If the report is accurate, that could still be the watch’s design, but Google’s delivery could be delayed. According to the source, the Pixel Watch was codenamed Rohan internally. It will have a bezel-free circular screen that meets the watch’s casing. On the right edge, there will be a button that will most likely be a power/function key. The watch will be available in two case colors: black and silver, as well as a variety of straps.
