The Black Shark 4S, Xiaomi’s new gaming phone, has been revealed in its first images. The Shark 4S, which will be an updated version of the Shark 4, will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+. The following is a list of everything we know about the Black Shark 4 S.
Manufacturers of gaming-specific smartphones follow a set of rules every year. Brands that release a new gaming phone at the start of each year frequently follow up a few months later with revised versions that include new features or more advanced hardware.
This year, Xiaomi, one of the brands following this trend, will introduce the Black Shark 4S series to technology enthusiasts. Today, photos of the Black Shark 4S were released, giving us an early look at the device.
The Black Shark 4S has an eye-catching design
Shark 4S, the improved version of Shark 4, will be announced in March, as is customary. It will come with new hardware, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+, which was just released. The design of the Shark 4S is another feature that Xiaomi appears to want to highlight.
Some of the original smartphone’s features are carried over to the new Black Shark 4S. The addition of more lines to the back panel pattern compared to the previous model is the most noticeable change to the device, which has a hexagon-shaped camera housing with a triple camera setup and retractable trigger buttons.
Furthermore, it appears that nanolithography was used to create the new design. Just below the phone’s camera housing, which has a large written Black Shark logo on the back, is a small green LED. The images also reveal that the Black Shark 4S will come in two colour options.
How was Black Shark 4, what awaits us in Black Shark 4S?

As previously stated, the Black Shark 4 has a 6.67-inch OLED display with Full HD + resolution. The Snapdragon 870 SoC devices have up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage, as well as a triple camera setup with a grabber that includes a 48 MP primary camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5 MP macro camera. It has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5, and Stereo Speakers, and is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery that charges quickly at 120 W.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC is expected to power the Black Shark 4S, boosting the Prime Core (ARM Cortex-X1) to an impressive 2.996 GHz. The display on the device will refresh at a rate of up to 144 Hz. The device will have a resolution of Full HD + or Quad HD + and will support 120 W fast charging, which is extremely fast.
