Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro with 40db Noise Cancellation is Set to Launch on September 27th

The Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro is expected to be the company’s latest true wireless earbuds, and it will be released early next week, on September 27. It’s expected to debut as the company’s latest pair of stereo wireless earbuds, and the Xiaomi branding rather than Redmi suggests that the company considers it a premium product. The Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro will offer active noise cancellation of up to 40dB, which is higher than typical budget true wireless earbuds, according to a Weibo teaser post released ahead of the launch.

However, little else is known about the Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro stereo earbuds at this time. The audio and battery specifications have yet to be revealed, but the teaser poster gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect. With a rectangular charging case and rounded corners, the TWS 3 Pro appears to be very similar to the Apple AirPods Pro. The earbuds themselves have an angled earpiece design and an elongated stalk to support the earbuds’ fit, similar to the AirPods Pro. A black color option has been confirmed, and a single LED indicator on the charging case will most likely serve as both a charging and pairing indicator.

The Xiaomi TWS 3 Pro earbuds are said to be similar to the company’s FlipBuds Pro earbuds, which were rumored to be released earlier this year. If this happens, the TWS 3 Pro could include Qualcomm aptX Adaptive compatibility for high-resolution audio playback, as well as a low latency mode to reduce lag while playing competitive games. There’s no word yet on the upcoming earbuds’ driver setup, battery life, or whether or not the charging case will include features like wireless charging compatibility.

The earbuds are expected to be released on September 27th, the same day as the Xiaomi CIVI smartphone. The CIVI line is expected to be a rebranded version of Xiaomi’s previous Mi CC series of flagship phones, and the phone in question sounds a lot like the Xiaomi 11X Pro sold in India. It will be interesting to see if Xiaomi also releases the new true wireless earbuds in India.
