On September 27th, Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi CIVI series of smartphones in China. The company confirmed the upcoming launch date via its official Weibo account yesterday. Today morning, Xiaomi also unveiled the design of the upcoming CIVI smartphone. The CIVI series device will have a rectangular camera module with a triple-camera setup, according to the teaser posted by Xiaomi. The power button and volume rocker will be on the right side of the phone. Hands-on images and specifications of the Xiaomi CIVI were also revealed on Weibo today, in addition to the company’s teaser.

According to the newly leaked hands-on images, the Xiaomi CIVI will be available in two color options: black and blue. As previously stated, the device will have a triple-camera setup with an LED flash. A 64MP primary main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a 3x telemacro sensor are expected to be included in the device’s rear camera module. The phone’s rear camera is expected to support 8K video recording as well as 960fps slow-motion video. In terms of performance, the Xiaomi CIVI is expected to come with a Snapdragon 778G processor.
The device is expected to have an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The handset is said to have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The Xiaomi CIVI is expected to have a thickness of 6.98mm and a weight of 166 grams. A punch-hole will be located in the center of the device’s display panel. A selfie camera will be built into the punch-hole. The device’s remaining specifications, such as selfie camera details and battery capacity, are currently unknown.
