With the latest Lenovo manager’s statement, the Snapdragon 898 processor, which will power Android flagships in 2022, came to the fore. The new processor, according to the manager, will make a difference, particularly in terms of GPU, or graphics.
The SD898 has now entered Geekbench via a prototype Vivo smartphone and is said to have a significant increase in GPU power over the SD888 it will replace. The processor received an initial score of 720 for single-core and 1,919 for multi-core in the test.

According to the latest information, the new processor will most likely be manufactured in a 4 nm process rather than the 5 nm process used by current solutions. Samsung will manufacture. It is widely assumed that the Snapdragon 898 will boost performance by at least 20% thanks to its new manufacturing infrastructure. The processor, according to sources, is made up of large Cortex-X2, Cortex-A710, and small Cortex-A510 cores. The Snapdragon 898 processor, which has eight cores, is expected to be released in November or December. Xiaomi Mi 12 and Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S2 are expected to be the first smartphones to feature this processor.
