Renders of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have been leaked
The official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is still months away. The next Galaxy flagship’s design renders have leaked online ahead of its launch. The S22 Ultra will be redesigned, according to render images posted by tipster OnLeaks and Digit.
The S22 Ultra will, according to the source, have a design similar to the Galaxy Note series. The S22 Ultra will have a flat top and bottom edge, with a slot for the S Pen on the latter. The device will be equipped with a 6.8-inch tall curved AMOLED display. A hole-punch cutout for the front camera will remain in the top center of the screen. The display will support a high refresh rate, which is expected to be around 120Hz.
The design of the rear camera module is also unique. According to OnLeaks, the S22 Ultra will feature a P-shaped camera module. It will feature a quad-camera system with an LED flash built into the camera module. The camera sensors’ specifications are unknown. According to the report, the device will feature a periscope camera lens. The other three sensors are expected to have wide-angle, ultrawide-angle, and telephoto zoom capabilities. The S21 Ultra had two telephoto camera sensors with 3x and 10x optical zoom, the main camera, and an ultrawide sensor, to give you an idea.
The renders also reveal a USB Type-C port on the bottom edge, as well as the speaker grille and SIM tray on the top edge. The device is 163.2 x 77.9 x 8.9mm in size (10.5mm with the camera bump).
