Samsung Galaxy F42 5G to Launch in India on September 29 TechAlert24

Samsung is preparing to launch a new low-cost 5G smartphone in India. On September 29, Samsung will release the Galaxy F42 5G in India. Samsung has also confirmed that the F42 5G will be available on Flipkart when it launches. The microsite outlines some of the key features of Samsung’s upcoming smartphone. In India, it’s expected to cost less than Rs 20,000. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy F-series smartphone’s design is also revealed on the microsite.

Launch of the Samsung Galaxy F42 5G in India

On September 29, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy F42 5G in India. The design and specs of the device have been confirmed by Flipkart ahead of the launch. The phone will be available in two colors: Black and Blue, according to the microsite. On the back, there is a square camera module. The module contains a triple-camera setup and an LED flash.

The camera’s primary sensor is confirmed to be 64 megapixels. It’ll probably come with a 5MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone has a waterdrop notch on the front. The phone’s screen has a 90Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ resolution, according to the microsite. According to previous reports, the phone will have a 6.6-inch IPS LCD.

The phone is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It will most likely ship with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In India, the device is expected to have 12 5G bands. It will also have a 5000 mAh battery. The support for fast charging has yet to be revealed. Samsung, on the other hand, is likely to support 15W fast charging. Finally, there is a fingerprint scanner on the phone’s side.
