Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro With Qualcomm chipset, Up to 30 Hours of Battery Life

The Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro and the Redmi 10 Prime smartphones were released in India on September 3rd. The new true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds are essentially rebranded Redmi AirDots 3 earbuds, which Xiaomi released in China in February. The Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro has dual drivers and is splash and sweat resistant, with an IPX4 rating for the earbuds.

Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive codec is also supported by the TWS earbuds. The Redmi’s Earbuds 3 Pro also has a quick pairing feature for MIUI phones, a minimum latency rate of 86 milliseconds, and a battery life of up to 30 hours. The Redmi’s Earbuds 3 Pro competes with the OnePlus Buds Z and Realme Buds Air 2 in terms of overall performance.

The Qualcomm QCC3040 SoC powers the Redmi’s Earbuds 3 Pro, which has dual dynamic drivers and a balanced armature. The earbuds support Bluetooth v5.2 with aptX Adaptive codec support for low latency and improved audio output. Voice calls, music playback, and voice assistant are all controlled via touch controls on the TWS earbuds. Infrared (IR) sensors on the Redmi’s Earbuds 3 Pro enable in-ear detection, which can automatically pause music when the earpieces are removed.

The Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro offers quick pairing, which brings a pop-up window on the screen when you open the lid of the charging case, similar to how AirPods can be paired with iOS devices.

The Redmi Earbuds 3 Pro’s earpieces are sweat-resistant and have an IPX4 rating. Each earbud is powered by a 43mAh lithium-ion polymer battery that can last up to seven hours on a single charge. The bundled charging case, on the other hand, comes with a 600mAh lithium-ion polymer battery that allows for up to 30 hours of playback time. A USB Type-C charging port is also included in the case.
