Realme GT Neo 2 5G with 120Hz AMOLED Display, Snapdragon 870 5G SoC Launched

In China, Realme has unveiled the Realme GT Neo 2 5G smartphone. Realme’s latest offering is a follow-up to the Realme GT Neo smartphone. The newly launched Realme GT Neo 2 has a 6.62-inch Full HD+ 120Hz E4 AMOLED display and is powered by the Snapdragon 870 5G SoC. There are up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage on the smartphone. A 64MP triple-camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, 5G support, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support are among the other highlights of the Realme GT Neo 2.

Pricing and Availability of the Realme GT Neo 2

The Realme GT Neo 2 is available in three colors: Shadow Black, Pale Blue, and Black Mint. The Realme GT Neo 2 8GB RAM with 128GB/256GB storage costs CNY 2499 (roughly Rs 28,500) and CNY 2699, respectively (roughly Rs 30,840). The top-of-the-line model, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, costs CNY 2999. (roughly Rs 34,270). The device will be available for pre-order starting today and will be available for purchase in China on September 27th.

Specifications and Features of the Realme GT Neo 2

The Realme GT Neo 2 has a 6.22-inch E4 AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display panel has a 120Hz refresh rate, a maximum brightness of 1300 nits, a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, a touch sampling rate of 600Hz, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone has a diamond ice core cooling system that covers 7932mm2 surface area with aerospace-grade cooling gel for heat dissipation. In comparison to the Realme GT Neo, Realme claims that the device has 20% better heat dissipation. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 5G chipset under the hood. The device has up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, as previously stated. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor built into the display.

A triple-camera setup consists of a 64MP primary main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera on the smartphone. The device has a 16MP selfie camera on the front. Dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, 5G, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port are among the handset’s connectivity features. The smartphone comes with stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos Hi-Res Audio. A 5000mAh battery powers the Realme GT Neo 2, which supports 65W fast charging. On the software front, the device comes pre-installed with Android 11 and Realme UI 2.0. The device measures 162.975.808.6mm in length and weighs 199.8 grams in weight.
