OPPO F19s Diwali Edition Launched in India with AMOLED Display, 48MP Triple Rear Cameras

The Oppo F19s is the latest addition to the company’s F19 series of mid-premium smartphones. In India, the device joins the Oppo F19 Pro and F19 Pro Plus as part of the company’s festive season offering. Glowing Gold is a new festive season color variant for the smartphone. This color variant, according to Oppo, was created using a unique design technology and is the first smartphone in India to use AG shimmering sand technology to achieve the design.

Price and Availability of the Oppo F19s

The Oppo F19s comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and is priced at Rs 19,990. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart and Oppo’s online store, with sales starting at 4 p.m. today.

Key Specifications

The Oppo F19s is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, as well as 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This places the smartphone squarely in the mid-range smartphone segment, with a premium design aiming to outperform the competition in terms of buyer appeal. The phone has a 6.43-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and thin bezels, except a slightly thicker band at the bottom. To the top left of the display is the drill hole slot for the front camera.

Oppo has prioritized the smartphone’s design and build quality, with a 3D curved body and dual-curved rear panel edges that support a flat display. The smartphone is 7.95mm thick, according to Oppo, making it one of the thinnest phones with a 5,000mAh battery on board. This puts it in the same league as Samsung’s recently announced Galaxy M52 5G, which features a 5,000mAh battery in a 7.4mm chassis. Glowing Gold and a starry Glowing Black are the two colors available for the device.

A 48MP triple rear camera and a 16MP front camera are among the other notable features. The two additional rear cameras are 2MP units that will assist with portrait mode and macro photography. The 5,000mAh battery also supports 33W fast charging, which Oppo claims will provide 5.5 hours of Talktime in just 5 minutes. Dual-band Wi-Fi, an optical fingerprint scanner under the display, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-LTE standby, and USB-C for wired connectivity and charging are also included. It also has a 3.5mm audio port for use with wired IEMs.
