A Quantic Dream game is pretty much a known quantity and a well-established brand within the video game community at this point, which is why a Star Wars project from them sounds pretty big. While it has not been confirmed, Quantic Dream is currently working on a new Star Wars project, according to leaker Tom Henderson, but that is about the most information currently available on the subject.
The information comes from Youtuber and ex-journalist Gautoz, who revealed that Quantic Dream has signed a deal with Disney after its contract with Sony expired. Detroit: Become Human, the studio’s last game for Sony, was a hit, receiving mostly positive reviews from critics and audiences.
Quantic Dream may be developing a new Star Wars game

According to Gautoz, the Star Wars game has taken the studio about 18 months to develop. So far, neither the studio nor Disney have said anything about the deal. Quantic Dream has been quite ambitious when it comes to seeking out ambitious narratives and incorporating interesting gameplay elements, so it will be interesting to see how they approach the Star Wars lore and universe.
Quantic Dream’s games have always had a certain appeal to those looking for fairly immersive and ambitious storytelling in video games, even if they aren’t the most gameplay-heavy. Following Disney’s decision to end their Star Wars game exclusivity deal with EA, it appears that a slew of new studios will be vying for a chance to tell a Star Wars story, which should be thrilling for fans.
Given that Quantic Dream is no longer affiliated with Sony, the game is likely to be released on platforms other than PlayStation if the studio is working on it.
