Moto G20 Tablet Confirmed to Launch in India on September 30, Specs Revealed on Flipkart

Flipkart, India’s largest e-commerce platform, has confirmed the launch of the first Motorola tablet in the country in a long time. The Motorola Moto G20 tablet will be available in India on September 30th, according to teasers on the platform’s Big Billion Day pages. For quite some time, rumors and leaks about the tablet’s release date have been circulating. Mukul Sharma, a tipster, had previously reported the device’s launch date. While the device’s price has yet to be revealed, the specifications indicate that it will be priced in the budget range and will compete with Samsung’s similar offerings.

Specifications and features of the Moto G20 Tablet

The Moto G20 Tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22T chipset and features an 8-inch HD display. Onboard memory is 3GB, with storage options of 32GB or 64GB. A 5100 mAh battery will be used to power the device. This should explain why we anticipated the device to be in the low-price range. When was the last time you heard of a smartphone with 3GB of RAM costing more than Rs. 10,000?

Aside from that, the Moto G20 Tablet will feature a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. It will come preloaded with Android 11 and feature a 3.5 mm audio jack, front-facing speakers, and Dolby Atmos audio optimization.

Anyway, while we’re on the subject of Motorola, it appears that the company will also release a new smart TV in India to go along with the new tablet. There isn’t much information about the TV right now, but we can be confident that it will work with AndroidTV right out of the box.

Over the last few years, the company has seen fewer volumes in India, where it once held a dominant position in the budget smartphone market. Motorola has lost market share as Chinese companies such as Xiaomi, Realme, and others push the boundaries in terms of specs and pricing. The company is no longer among the top five smartphone sellers in the country, though the tablet market isn’t as competitive as the smartphone market.
