In India, the iPhone 13 Series will be available for pre-order beginning today. Starting at 5:30 p.m. IST on September 24, you can pre-order the Apple iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and iPhone 13 Mini from Apple’s official India online store. The iPhone 13 series will be available on September 24.
Interestingly, Apple is allowing pre-orders for the entire lineup, unlike the previous time when only the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini were available after the official launch.
If you missed Apple’s recent virtual event for the iPhone 13, here’s a rundown of what’s new in the iPhone 13 Series.
Features of the iPhone 13

The new iPhone comes in four different models this time: iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
A new A15 Bionic chip, new colors, a smaller notch, and major changes to the camera array are included in all new models. Apart from that, there are no significant differences between the iPhone 13 and the previous year’s lineup.
The iPhone 13 has the same 6.1-inch OLED display as last year’s model, but with higher minimum brightness. The 13 Mini has the same 5.4-inch OLED display as the 13 Mini.
On the other hand, high-end models now include a 120Hz ProMotion display with a minimum brightness of 1000 nits.
The performance of the A15 Bionic chip has been improved. Apple claims it is 50 percent faster than the competition and much faster than last year’s model.
The batteries have gotten better. Apple claims that the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro Max will have 2.5 hours more battery life than last year’s models, though we don’t have exact numbers yet. In the meantime, the iPhone 13 Mini and 13 Pro will have a 1.5-hour longer battery life than the previous model.

The iPhone 13 has received direct camera upgrades from the iPhone 12 Pro Max from last year. That means a larger 12-megapixel wide sensor with sensor-shift OIS and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 120-degree field of view. The baseline models should provide some excellent low-light photography opportunities.
For its Pro models, Apple has also added larger camera sensors. The aperture on the 12MP ultra-wide camera is much larger than it was last year. The 12MP wide camera also has a larger sensor for better low-light performance.
A new Cinematic Mode is also coming to the iPhone 13 and Pro models, which is essentially Apple’s Portrait mode for videos. You will also be able to apply the blur effect to videos.
Apple is also introducing 4K ProRes video recordings for professional video editors. In videos, this feature will provide better color fidelity and less compression. Only Pro models with at least 256GB of storage will be able to use it.
