Xiaomi is preparing for an event on August 10 in China. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 smartphone will be unveiled in China by the Chinese smartphone giant. The device is said to have an under-display camera that allows for full-screen viewing. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Mi Pad 5 will be unveiled at the event. The premium Xiaomi tablet has previously visited multiple certification websites, revealing important information. The Mi Pad 5 will support a smart stylus, according to a teaser image released by Xiaomi. The launch of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 has been confirmed
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will be released in China on August 10th. Along with the Mi Mix 4, the tablet will be the first to support a smart Pen. The device’s support for a smart stylus is confirmed by Xiaomi’s teaser poster. The Xiaomi Smart Pen, with the model number M2107K81PC, was discovered on the FCC website.
The device’s other features are not revealed in the teaser poster. The Mi Pad 5 has, however, been a popular topic of conversation. The device is expected to have a 10.95-inch IPS LCD, according to previous leaks. It will be compatible with a 120Hz refresh rate.
On the back, the device will have a dual-camera setup. On Weibo, tipster Mukul Sharma, aka Stufflistings, spotted the Mi Pad 5’s leaked camera module design. It confirms that the LED flash will be housed within the camera module’s square shape. A 20MP primary main camera and a 13MP secondary lens are rumored to be included in the phone.
An octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset is expected to power the Mi Pad 5. A Snapdragon 860 SoC is rumored to be included in another variant of the device. The tablet will reportedly have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button. It’s said to have a battery capacity of 8720 mAh.
