Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G smartphone. The device has nearly identical specifications to the Galaxy A52 5G, except a different chipset. Samsung is using the Snapdragon 778G chipset for the Galaxy A52s 5G instead of the Snapdragon 750G SoC (which powers the A52 5G). The Galaxy A52s 5G has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display, up to 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a 64MP quad-camera, a 32MP selfie camera, and a 4500mAh battery, among other features. Pricing and availability of the Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G
The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G costs from GBP 409 onwards (Rs 41,806). The Galaxy A52s 5G is available in four colors: Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Violet, and Awesome Mint. Pre-orders for the handset will begin on August 24 on Samsung’s official website. Samsung has not yet revealed any information about the Galaxy A52s 5G’s availability in India.
Specifications and features of the Galaxy A52s 5G
The Galaxy A52s 5G, as previously stated, has similar specifications and features to the Galaxy A52 5G, with the exception that it is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G chipset. The Adreno 642L GPU aids the SoC. The phone has a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G has a maximum of 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The A52s 5G also comes in a higher-end version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone also supports microSD cards, allowing for storage expansion of up to 1TB.
On the software front, the A52s 5G comes preloaded with Android 11 and the One UI 3 skin. The A52s 5G is equipped with a quad-camera setup for imaging. A 64MP primary main camera with OIS is included in the rear-facing camera module. A 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, as well as a pair of 5MP depth and macro sensors, complement the 64MP main sensor. The device has a 32MP selfie camera on the front.
The device is powered by a 4500mAh battery with a 25W fast charging capability. IP67 certification, an in-display fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos support, Stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port, and Samsung Pay are among the other features of the Galaxy A52s 5G. The handset’s dimensions are 159.9 x 75.1 x 8.4mm, and it weighs 189 grams.
