Specifications of the Realme Book Slim

The Realme’s Book Slim is a 14-inch IPS display with a 2K (2,160×1,440 pixels) resolution, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, and a 3:2 aspect ratio that runs on Windows 10 (with a free upgrade to Windows 11). The display is said to be up to 33% brighter than typical laptop displays, which have a peak brightness of 400 nits. You also get narrow bezels with a thickness of 5.3mm on the sides and 8.45mm on the top. Realme claims that the thin bezel design has increased the screen-to-body ratio to 90%, which is higher than the 82 percent available on the Apple MacBook Air.

The Realme Book Slim is powered by an 11th-generation Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics and up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. In addition, you’ll get up to 512GB of PCIe SSD storage. The laptop also has a dual-fan ‘Storm Cooling’ thermal management system with two copper pipes for heat dissipation.

PC Connect, a feature preloaded by Realme, allows users to connect their smartphone to the Realme Book Slim and use the phone’s screen on their laptop. It also facilitates faster file transfers by allowing users to drag and drop files onto the laptop’s display. The PC Connect includes a smart application integration feature that allows the system to recognize the file types of most data on your phone and allow you to access it on your laptop without interruption.

The backlit keyboard on the Realme Book Slim has a three-position backlight adjustment and 1.3mm key travel. A touchpad with multitouch gestures and Microsoft’s PTP precision touch technology is also included. A two-in-one fingerprint-power button is also included.

On the multimedia front, the Realme Book Slim is equipped with two Harman speakers that are said to provide an immersive surround sound experience. DTS audio technology is also used in the speakers. When participating in a video conference, the laptop has two microphones that use artificial intelligence (AI)-based algorithms and pre-processing technology to cancel out background noise.

Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, a USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 port, a Thunderbolt 4 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the Realme Book Slim’s connectivity options. The Intel Core i3 variant, on the other hand, lacks the Thunderbolt 4 port in favor of a regular USB Type-C port. The laptop is powered by a 54Wh battery that is rated to last up to 11 hours on a single charge. It supports 65W Super Fast Charge, which claims to charge the built-in battery to 50% capacity in 30 minutes. The bundled charger also supports 30W Dart Charge technology, allowing you to use the Realme Book Slim adapter to charge your Realme phone or any other compatible device.

The Realme Book Slim features a mirrored logo on an aluminum-alloy unibody design. Finally, the laptop is 15.5mm thick and has 1.38 kilograms in weight.
