The Motorola Edge 20 Fusion will be released in India on August 17, and Flipkart has already revealed some of the phone’s key specifications. The phone is expected to be a tweaked version of the Motorola Edge 20 Lite, which was released in Europe last month as part of the Motorola Edge 20 series. The MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC will power the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion, which will have a triple rear camera setup.
Motorola has been teasing the release of the Motorola Edge 20 and Motorola Edge 20 Fusion, and now a Flipkart page dedicated to the latter has revealed some of its specs. The phone will have a 10-bit AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 frames per second. The MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC will power it, and there will be three cameras on the back. A 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle plus macro lens, and a depth sensor will be included in the device. A 32-megapixel selfie camera is housed within a centrally located hole-punch cutout on the front of the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion.
The phone will run a near-stock version of Android 11 and will be protected by Lenovo’s ThinkShield for mobile, which provides business-grade security. In India, Motorola’s Edge 20 Fusion will support 13 5G bands.
Because Motorola Edge 20 Lite is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC, the Motorola Edge 20 Fusion is expected to be a tweaked version of the Motorola Edge 20 Lite. If this information is correct, the Motorola’s Edge 20 Fusion will have a 6.7-inch OLED display, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. It will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 30W TurboPower fast charging support.
The phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart on August 17th in India. The Motorola Edge 20 will be released at the same time.
