At an event hosted by MediaTek, the company that has managed to shift the balance in the smartphone industry with the processors it has released in recent years announced two new processors. The ” Dimensity 920 ” and ” Dimensity 810 ” processors, which are in the middle segment, appear to bring the middle segment phones closer to the upper segment. So, what are the benefits of MediaTek’s new processors?
When we look at the processors’ common features, we can see that both models support 5G. Furthermore, both processors are created using the 6 nm manufacturing process. In the third quarter of this year, consumers will be able to meet with the processors, which share common features such as artificial intelligence support and network capabilities. However, which models will be the first to use MediaTek’s new processors is unknown.
MediaTek Dimensity 920 Specifications

Dimensity 920 has ARM Cortex-A78 cores running at 2.5 GHz, which is 9% better than MediaTek Dimensity 900 in terms of gaming performance. The processor supports LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage systems, as well as 4K HDR video encoding and a 108 MP resolution. With support for both SA and NSA, the Dimensity 920 can provide 5G connectivity to both dual SIM cards. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Super Hotspot, and HyperEngine 3.0 are some of the newer technologies that can be used with this processor.
The MediaTek Dimensity 810 is a less powerful processor
We can see 4 ARM Cortex-A76 cores and 4 ARM Cortex-A55 cores on the Dimensity 810. The processor is compatible with 120 Hz refresh rate displays with FHD resolution and supports PDDR4X RAM and UFS storage. The processor is compatible with HyperEngine 2.0 game technology and includes features such as simultaneous camera use, 64 MP camera support, and artificial intelligence. This model appears to be aimed at more affordable mid-range phones…
