Let’s take a look at the Apple iPhone 13 specifications, features, and other details that have been leaked ahead of time.
camera features of the Apple iPhone 13 series are tipped
The Apple iPhone 13 series is expected to be released in September. Some key details about the device’s camera have leaked ahead of the launch. According to Bloomberg, Apple’s next iPhone will include Portrait mode video. iPhone users will be able to capture HD or 4K clips in a higher-quality format, giving editors more control during post-production, thanks to a new ProRes video-recording feature.
Apple will also include a new filter-like system for enhancing the appearance and colors of photos. Users will be able to apply several styles to their photos, including one that shows colors at either a warmer or cooler temperature while keeping whites neutral, according to the company.
Along with the LED flash and LiDAR sensor, the upcoming Pro iPhones will have three sensors. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the ultrawide camera on the Pro models will support autofocus. Instead of the current 5-piece lens, Apple will introduce a 6-piece lens.
The display is going to be the most noticeable upgrade. While the screen size is expected to remain unchanged from the iPhone 12 series, the notch is expected to shrink. To reduce the size of the notch, Apple will move the earpiece to the top bezel. Face ID technology will continue to be available. On the Pro models, Apple is also expected to introduce a 120Hz LTPO display.
On the Pro models, there’s also a faster A15 Bionic chip and up to 512GB of internal storage. According to previous reports, the new iPhones will have a larger battery. A 4,352 mAh battery will power the top-of-the-line 13 Pro Max.
The battery in the iPhone 13 Pro and the regular iPhone 13 will be 3,095 mAh, which is larger than the 2,815 mAh cell in the current iPhone 12 and 12 Pro models. A 2,406mAh battery is said to be included in the 13 mini. Apple is also rumored to be introducing a larger wireless charging coil, which could mean faster wireless charging.
