According to recent internet reports, the Google Pixel 6 series of smartphones will be officially unveiled on September 13, 2021.
Google Pixel 6 arrive on September 13?
BigG unveiled its flagship Pixel series smartphones – the iteration 6 and 6 Pro – earlier this month. Both devices will feature a new Tensor chipset and a redesigned design. The launch date for these flagships, however, has yet to be announced by the company.
While the official launch date has yet to be determined, a new report claims that Google will reveal the details on September 13. This is the day before Apple’s keynote, which will be the unveiling of the iPhone 13 series of phones.
The upcoming Pixel 6 series will be available for purchase during the fall season, according to the company. Despite this, Google has halted the production of the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G smartphones that were released last year.
The Mountain View OEM has only revealed a few key details about future smartphones thus far, with the full spec sheet remaining a mystery. To begin with, we know that the standard model has a 6.4-inch Full HD + display with a 90Hz refresh rate, while the Pro version has a 6.7-inch QHD + panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The refresh rate is 120Hz.
On the back, the Pixel 6 vanilla has a dual-camera setup, while the Pixel 6 Pro has a triple-lens setup with a wide-angle lens, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 4x telephoto lens. The proprietary chipset is said to be focused on photographic output and uses artificial intelligence and machine learning for better image processing, so photographic performance may be at the top of the list this time.
The processor in the Pixel 6 series will remain its defining feature; the devices will be powered by the SoC Tensor, the first processor designed specifically for Google’s products. The chipset in question is most likely a rebranded Samsung Exynos 9855 SoC.
