If Battlefield 2042 hasn’t already piqued your interest, there are a few more exciting features in store for Indian gamers. This year, EA’s massively successful FPS franchise returns massively, and from the looks of it, the fanbase is completely behind DICE’s direction with the game.
The news that one of the Battlefield 2042 maps will be set in Alang, Gujarat’s Bhavnagar district, piqued the interest of Indian gamers in particular. Not only does the map feature an eye-catching setting, but it also contains some intriguing lore from the Battlefield 2042 universe.
Navin Rao is a new Indian specialist in Battlefield 2042
DICE has been hard at work developing a detailed world and lore for Battlefield 2042, and it appears to be very interesting so far. Navin Rao appears to be one of the specialists players can choose to play as in the game, as he appears to have hacking abilities that will undoubtedly aid in combat.
Players got their first look at Navin Rao and his backstory and personality in EA’s recent World of Battlefield 2042. Navin is a notorious hacker and is extremely resourceful and skilled, having managed to steal a ship from the Alang shipyard while the Indian Army was on its tail in the middle of a storm.
This is a huge deal for Indian gamers because it’s one of the few times they’ll get to play as an Indian character in a big AAA game like Battlefield 2042. EA has steadily improved its representation of a diverse range of characters, cultures, and identities, particularly in games like Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends, which features an Anglo-Indian character named Ramya Parekh AKA Rampart.
