In India, the Taiwanese tech giant Asus has announced a special edition of its ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 Alan Walker Special Edition, a 14-inch gaming laptop created in collaboration with DJ and music producer Alan Walker, was announced in India yesterday. Though the spec sheet for the Zephyrus G14 series remains fairly standard, the laptop comes with special color options that are unique to this edition. The new laptop comes with a custom ROG remix sampler that is only available in the Alan Walker edition.
What’s new in the Alan Walker Special Edition ROG Zephyrus G14?
The special Alan Walker edition of the laptop, as previously stated, will feature new colors and styling options. The Spectre Blue shade and the AniMe Matrix LED array will be used as accents along with the laptop. The nameplate has a similar color tone to it, as well as the signature ROG logo. The nameplate was created using a physical vapor deposition process, according to the company, which gives it a certain reflectivity from certain angles. The laptop has a cyberpunk design with two fabric belts that use reflective text and matrix LEDs across the lid.
It comes with an acrylic top cover chosen by Walker himself, as well as unique packaging not found on other Zephyrus G14 models. A USB Type C cable can be used to connect the box to the Zephyrus G14, transforming it into the ROG Remix sampler.
