Royole Flexpai, the first foldable smartphone, was released in October of 2018. Since then, popular manufacturers such as Huawei, Samsung, Motorola, Xiaomi, and others have released a slew of foldable smartphones. However, three years after the first foldable smartphone was released, no foldable iPhone has been released. Although the first foldable smartphone has yet to be seen, Apple is working on it. Patents for a variety of foldable screen solutions have been obtained by the company. However, some reports claim that the launch of foldable iPhones is premature.

Apple will release its first foldable smartphone in 2023, according to Ming-Chi Kuo, a well-known Apple analyst. This device will also have an 8-inch QHD+ flexible screen, according to him. Furthermore, Mark Gurman stated that Apple is working on a foldable iPhone. This product, however, will not be available soon. This smartphone’s prototype, on the other hand, is complete. According to Gurman,
“Apple will do it eventually, but it will take two or three years at the very least. I believe that an iPhone with a large, expandable 7 or 8-inch screen would be the ideal equipment for me and many others.”
On February 20, 2019, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Fold foldable smartphone. This is a popular smartphone manufacturer’s first foldable smartphone. Samsung is expected to release the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 on August 11th. Samsung’s under-screen camera proactive technology should make its debut on this device. Other companies such as Honor, Vivo, Google, and others are expected to release foldable phones this year. This means that the foldable iPhone will lag behind foldable Android phones by five to six years.
TITANIUM ALLOY MODEL WILL BE USED ON THE 2022 IPHONE
The official launch of the next-generation iPhone, the iPhone 13 series, is just a few weeks away. According to reports, Apple’s 2022 iPhone will include a new titanium alloy model. However, according to the report, this model will not be available until early 2023.
If Apple wants to introduce the titanium alloy material, the iPad is expected to be the product line with the best water temperature test, according to the industry. This is preferable to the iPhone made of titanium alloy. As a result, the iPad is expected to be the first product line to incorporate this technology in 2022. Apple is expected to release the iPhone 14 series high-end models (or Pro) in the second half of 2022, according to JPMorgan Chase. The fuselage is expected to be made of titanium alloy, with aluminum used in other models. Apple has not issued an official statement as of yet.
