Last month, during the launch of the Realme GT smartphone in Europe, the Realme Pad tablet was officially teased. It has been stopped by certification agencies in a few countries after being spotted in public.
Realme Pad renders from 91mobiles and noted industry insider Steve Hemmerstoffer of @onleaks fame have been released today, revealing what the upcoming tablet will look like from every angle.
Design of the Realme Pad
Realme Pad will have a display measuring roughly 10.4 inches in size, according to renders shared with us by @onleaks. According to the renders, the tablet will have a generic slab design with a protruding single rear camera and flat sides, similar to the iPad Pro 2020.
On the back, Realme branding can be seen, as well as a straight line running through the camera module to facilitate the dual-tone finish as a design accent. The uniformly thick bezels surrounding the screen, as well as the single selfie shooter in the middle, are visible from the front.
The Power button and two speakers are on one side of the frame, while the USB Type-C port and two more speakers are on the other. The camera module is close to the volume rocker, which is located on the frame. A microSD card slot for storage expansion appears to be on the same edge.
One of the most intriguing features to consider is a slot in the frame that houses the USB port and will hold the stylus that will be included with the Realme Pad. The tablet’s dimensions are 246.1 x 155.8 x 6.8mm, though the thickness rises to 8.4mm when the protruding rear camera is taken into account. The renders show the tablet in a Grey-Black color scheme, but we can expect more options when it is released.
The device will be powered by a 7,100mAh cell and will have the model number BLT001, according to a previous certification listing. The company’s teasers, as well as live images, indicate that it will be available in a Silver-Grey color scheme.
There are currently no other details available about the tablet. The device is expected to be released this quarter or in early October, along with the Realme Book laptop.
