The Realme GT Master Edition smartphone is about to be released. The smartphone could be the company’s year-end camera flagship. Detailed specifications and renders of the device have now surfaced on the web, courtesy of OnLeaks and 91mobiles, ahead of the launch. According to the report, the Realme GT Master Edition will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G SoC and feature a 64MP triple-rear camera setup. Given that this is Realme’s camera-focused flagship for the year, the inclusion of a 64MP primary sensor is a letdown. Let’s take a closer look at the Realme GT Master Edition renders, design, and specifications that have been leaked.
The GT Master Edition will have a flat display with minimal bezels, as well as a punch-hole notch in the top left corner. A triple-rear camera setup will be housed inside a rectangular camera module on the handset. This Master Edition is also designed by renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukusawa and will be available in matte white and Black color options. A Faux Leather variant with a pattern will also be available.
Specifications and Price of the Realme GT Maste Edition (Leaked)

The 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display on the Realme GT Master Edition is said to have a 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778 5G mobile processor is said to power the device. This contradicts previous reports that claimed the handset would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. Arsenal, a well-known Weibo tipster, confirmed that the handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 mobile processor.
In terms of cameras, the phone is said to have a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP sensor and an LED flash. An 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP depth sensor will be added to the device’s primary sensor. This is in contrast to previous reports that suggested the handset would feature a 108MP sensor. The handset is said to have a 32MP camera on the front.
A 4,300mAh battery with 65W SuperDart fast charging support will be included in the upcoming GT Master Edition. It will start with Android 11 and Realme UI 2.0. The phone’s thickness is said to be around 8mm, and it weighs around 174 grams. The 8GB + 256GB storage variant is expected to cost EUR 399 (roughly Rs 35,200), while the 12GB + 256GB storage variant is expected to cost EUR 449. (approx. Rs 39,600).
For the upcoming Realme GT Master Edition handset, Realme is said to be collaborating with Kodak. However, given that the brand uses 64MP sensors in most of its mid-range handsets, the inclusion of a 64MP primary sensor is surprising. The recently launched Realme 8 Pro, which is also a mid-range handset, has a 108MP primary sensor. What are your thoughts on a flagship phone with a 64MP primary sensor?
