Realme Book, the company’s laptop, was unveiled at the Realme GT global launch in June. It is the company’s first laptop device, and it will compete with Xiaomi Notebooks. While Realme hasn’t revealed the entire design, the leaked live images have given us a glimpse of what to expect. Now, courtesy of GizNext and OnLeaks aka Steve Hemmerstoffer, the Realme Book 5K renders have surfaced online. The laptop has a brushed aluminum body with black keyboard keys, a large trackpad, and ports on both sides, similar to the Apple MacBook.
The Realme laptop has a standard design that isn’t particularly noteworthy. Narrow bezels on the front display allow for a higher screen-to-body ratio. The trackpad and keyboard layout are nearly identical to those found on Apple MacBooks. On the top-right corner, there’s a power button that’s expected to double as a fingerprint sensor. On the right, there’s a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-A port, and on the left, there are two USB Type-C ports. The Realme laptop is lacking in ports. The notebook’s aspect ratio is 3:2. The laptop’s dimensions are said to be 307 x 229 x 16mm. That’s all there is to the Realme laptop design. If you like Apple MacBooks, you should like Realme laptops as well.
Specifications for the Realme Book (rumored)
In addition, the publication spilled the beans on the Realme Book specifications. It’ll have a 14-inch display with an FHD LED anti-glare panel, according to reports. The laptop is said to be powered by 11th generation processors, with either i3 or i5 models available. It’ll most likely run Windows 10 and come with Microsoft Office pre-installed. While the RAM+SSD storage options have yet to be revealed, there may be several options.
Price of the Realme Book and its expected release date
The base lower-spec variant of the Realme Book is expected to cost under Rs 40,000 in India. The notebook is expected to be released in India by the end of August 2021, but no specific date has been announced.
