Micromax has released the AirFunk 1 and 1 Pro true wireless earbuds. TWS earbuds were teased by company co-founder Rahul Sharma yesterday, and both have been released in the budget segment. The two earbuds have interesting feature sets that are distinct from one another, and they will compete with budget earbuds like the Realme Buds Q2 and others in the budget category. Both earbuds will be sold on Flipkart and will come in a variety of color options.
Micromax AirFunk 1 Pro
The Micromax AirFunk 1 Pro, starting with the Pro variant, is powered by a Qualcomm QCC 3040 chipset, which supports Clear Voice Capture 8.0 (CVC 8.0) audio enhancement. When listening to music through the earbuds, ambient noise cancellation is included, as well as echo cancellation for phone calls.
The AirFunk 1 Pro has a 25dB noise cancellation rating, which is lower than the 35dB noise cancellation found in most budget earbuds. Apart from that, it is powered by 13mm dynamic drivers and has a quad microphone array for voice calls.
Bluetooth 5.2 is used for connectivity, and the charging case has a USB-C charging port. It also has an IP44 rating for durability, as well as touch controls on the earbuds. The buds themselves are designed with a stalk and come with a round charging case.
On earbuds alone, the playback time is rated at 7 hours, and with the charging case included, the playback time is rated at 32 hours. The AirFunk 1 Pro is priced at Rs 2,499 and comes in blue, white, black, yellow, and red colors. From August 18, it will be available for purchase on Flipkart.

Meanwhile, the standard variant costs Rs 1,299, making them one of the most affordable true wireless earbuds on the market. The Micromax AirFunk 1 is equipped with 9mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.0, and is certified to deliver ‘3D stereo surround sound.’ The earbuds are standard earbuds without the stalk, and the battery life is rated at five hours on earbud charge and 15 hours with the charging case. This one has a USB-C port as well as an IP44 rating for splash and dust resistance.
The ability to change your voice between male and female in between calls is a fun gimmick to woo users. It also has a flat charging case and comes in five color combinations: blue, yellow, purple, white, and black/red.
