In India, Xiaomi has released a new power bank. The new Mi HyperSonic Power Bank has a fast-charging capability of 50W. It has a capacity of 20,000 mAh in total. Xiaomi’s new power bank has three ports, allowing users to charge multiple devices simultaneously. One USB Type-C port and two USB-A ports are available on the Mi HyperSonic Power Bank. It has a 45W charging capacity and can charge a laptop at that rate. Xiaomi also claims that the HyperSonic Power Bank’s 50W fast charging can recharge a typical 4,500 mAh battery in 65 minutes.
The power bank can be recharged in about 3 hours and 50 minutes using the USB Type-C port. Xiaomi claims that its new laptop power bank is designed with user safety in mind. With every use, the 20,000 mAh Li-poly batteries ensure fast and safe charging. It also has six layers of advanced chip protection, including short circuit protection, temperature protection, input over-voltage protection, battery over-current protection, and over-discharge protection, among other features.
The power bank also has a low-power charging mode that you can access by double-tapping the power button. This feature is useful for charging low-power devices such as Bluetooth headsets, fitness bands, and smartwatches.
The power bank is made of high-quality PC + ABS material and has a matte black design. The power bank is said to be lightweight and durable due to the material used. Xiaomi has launched a crowdfunding campaign in India to sell the HyperSonic Power Bank. It will be available for Rs 3,499 on the company’s official website starting July 30.
