iPhone 13 mini: Assembly of Device Has Been Secured by Foxconn and Pegatron

The iPhone 13 lineup is expected to debut in September of this year. Furthermore, Foxconn and Pegatron have both reserved a spot to assemble the iPhone 13 mini. While the iPhone 12 mini is great and small, it does not appear to have been a big hit. Due to low demand, the iPhone 12 mini had to be reduced in size. This gives us a good idea of how well the iPhone 13 mini will perform.

Pegatron and Foxconn will assemble the iPhone 13 mini

Apple is expected to keep the iPhone 13 mini at 5.4 inches this year. While Apple intends to release a mini version of the iPhone 13 series in 2022, a reliable source claims that the company will abandon its plans. As a result, the iPhone 13 mini could be the last iPhone to bear the mini’ moniker. According to a new report from DigiTimes, the iPhone 13 mini is currently being assembled by Foxconn and Pegatron.

According to market sources, Pegatron has received orders for the upcoming 5.4-inch iPhone model, as well as a portion of orders for another upcoming iPhone model with a 6.1-inch display.

Apple will unveil a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, as well as a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max, according to renowned analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. According to the full report, Foxconn and Pegatron will assemble the iPhone 13 mini. However, due to lower-than-expected demand, Pegatron has seen a drop in iPhone 12 mini orders.

Aside from that, Pegatron will assemble a small number of the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 model, while Foxconn will continue to be the primary manufacturer of all iPhone 13 models. The iPhone 13 series is expected to have the same design as the previous models. The notch on all models, however, is getting smaller, thanks to the iPhone 13 Pro’s 120Hz LTPO display.
