GTA 6 will go down in history as one of the most eagerly anticipated games of all time, regardless of whether it is released in 2025 or later. The gaming community has seen its fair share of highly anticipated releases, but few can compare to Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series in terms of scale and scope.
The most recent rumor came from Tom Henderson, the infamous Call of Duty leaker, who detailed a slew of information gleaned from his sources. The information was intriguing in and of itself, but the highlight was, of course, the rumored release date of 2025.
The veracity of these rumors has yet to be confirmed – but now, prominent games journalist Jason Schreier has confirmed Tom’s information as being consistent with what he has received.

Fans had questioned whether Schreier had suggested that the game would be released in 2023, so he replied to the tweet. He chimed in, claiming that Tom Henderson’s information is consistent with what he’s heard.
Tom made it clear to the general public that he isn’t exactly known for his GTA leaks and information, so take everything he says with a grain of salt.
Rockstar Games has been keeping this one close to their chest, as they have yet to confirm the game’s existence. Rockstar’s only source of information was a series of leaks that detailed “Project AMERICAS,” which was ostensibly GTA 6’s placeholder title.
It’s a big deal to have someone as well-known as Jason Schreier weigh in on Tom’s GTA leaks. It remains to be seen whether either of their claims is correct, but in any case, it appears that GTA 6 fans will have to wait a little longer.
