In May, Asus released two smartphones in the Zenfone 8 series: the Asus Zenfone 8 and the Asus Zenfone 8 Flip. These devices were supposed to be released in India on the same day as the global launch, which happened on May 12. The launch of these two devices in India has been delayed due to the second COVID-19 wave.
We’re aware that Asus is gearing up for the launch of these two handsets in India soon. A few days ago, the company released a new teaser on its official India website. Now, thanks to India Today Tech, we have some new information about the Asus Zenfone 8 series launch.
The Asus Zenfone 8 Series will be available in India soon
Asus is very close to launching the Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip smartphones in India, according to India Today Tech’s conversation with Asus’s Business Head Dinesh Sharma. According to Dinesh Sharma, the company is working out the logistics and will announce the launch date of the Zenfone 8 series for the Indian market soon.
“We will be launching the Zenfone 8 in India very soon. And, when I say that, I mean really soon. I have been getting a lot of requests about that product on social media and are working to bring it to the country. In an interview with India Today Tech, Dinesh Sharma said, “There are a lot of factors that need to be looked at, including logistics, and as soon as that is done, we will announce a date.”
As previously stated, Asus has already posted a teaser on its official India website, indicating that the Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip will be available soon. Before releasing the smartphone, Asus wants to make sure there is enough supply to meet demand, according to Dinesh Sharma. He went on to say:
“You must make a sufficient quantity of a product available to begin selling it. There is a build-up process in the smartphone manufacturing process. You shouldn’t expect a large volume of products on the first day. After you start the process, it takes some time,” says the author.
