The launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G in India is scheduled for June 10th, and the company has been revealing key features every other day. The handset will be 7.9mm thinner than the original Nord and will reintroduce the 3.5 mm audio jack for audiophiles. Now, the company has confirmed that the OnePlus Nord CE will come with a 64MP primary camera in a new feature reveal. The phone will have a vertical camera module on the back with three camera sensors, according to a short teaser clip on Instagram. The OnePlus Nord CE 5G will include a Pro mode for manual control of settings as well as a tilt-shift photography mode similar to the Realme 8 series. The selfie camera will be housed in a punch-hole cutout on the top-left corner of the phone.

The complete OnePlus Nord CE 5G specifications were recently leaked. It is said to have a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a security fingerprint sensor embedded in the display. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC with Adreno 619 GPU will power the device. The phone will be available in two different configurations: 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB (as confirmed by an Amazon listing). It will most likely come pre-installed with the OxygenOS custom skin, which is based on Android 11. 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync could be among the connectivity options.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is said to have triple cameras on the back, including a 64-megapixel OmniVision sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth unit. It’s expected to have a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. As previously stated, the phone will be 7.9mm thick, and the phone may be made of polycarbonate to keep the price low. The phone will have a 4,500mAh battery and support for 30W fast charging.
While the exact pricing is unknown, we can expect the Nord CE 5G to be priced similarly to the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G and Xiaomi Mi 10i, which both cost under Rs 25,000. On June 16th, the phone will be available for purchase.
