OnePlus 9T display specs leaked ahead of launch

According to what emerges in these hours from a tipster on Weibo, it seems that the technical specifications of the future OnePlus 9T have just been leaked.

In these hours the (alleged) technical specifications of the future OnePlus 9T have been leaked on the net; we find a display OLED LTPO to 120Hz, but it seems that there will be no “Pro” model this year.

OnePlus 9T: everything we know (so far)

The OnePlus 9T specs have just surfaced on the web which means it’s only a matter of time before the phone goes official. The heir of the OnePlus 8T is apparently in the order of things and a new indiscretion that has emerged on Weibo suggests that only one model should be expected again this year.

The company never launched the OnePlus 8T Pro last year and it looks like it will repeat the same strategy move in 2021. Instead, the vanilla variant of the 9T series is close to making its global debut.

According to a Weibo leak (via TechDroider), the new flagship will feature a Samsung LTPO OLED display with a variable refresh rate of 120Hz. We will probably have a curved panel with an FHD + resolution of up to 1080p instead of a resolution of 1440p, as we have seen on the OnePlus 9 Pro. Furthermore, the tipster on Weibo confirms that there will not be a 9T Pro variant this year, which would not be a surprise.

The Chinese giant said last year that it didn’t see the need for a Pro model in the middle of the year as the old 8 Pro flagship offered all the necessary premium features. This will probably be the same logic that the company will adopt with the new line-up.

Just like “remind me”, the OP 9 Pro is packed with features like a 120Hz Fluid AMOLED LTPO display, Snapdragon 888 chipset, four cameras supported by Hasselblad technology, 65W wired fast charging, and 50W wireless charging.

The upcoming OnePlus 9T should get most of the features seen on this device, but with some distinctive features that will make it different and one of a kind. It should also be cheaper. There will likely be a global launch in the months to come; we assume in September, as usual.
