Xiaomi’s this new tv Horizon Edition sports an almost bezel-less design with an impressive 93.7% screen-to-body ratio and 178-degree viewing angles. Furthermore, the smart tv enjoys a 40-inch Full HD display with a 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and 9.5ms response time.

Thanks to Xiaomi’s Vivid Picture Engine support, this new Horizon Edition tv offers more vivid colors and deeper contrasts; while as regards the audio, the device is equipped with two 10 W speakers with DTS-HD surround sound, for a total of 20 Watt sound.

The TV is powered by the Amlogic quad-core processor, paired with 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of eMMC memory and Mali-450 GPU; in terms of connectivity, it boasts 2 USB 2.0 ports, 3 HDMI ports, 1 Ethernet port, a 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi.

From the software point of view, however, the Mi TV 4A 40 Horizon Edition runs Android 9 with Xiaomi’s PathWall operating system. But that’s not all, since the smart TV also has a built-in Chromecast, which allows you to control it via the Google Assistant and, alternatively, you can also decide to use Xiaomi’s AIoT devices. Additionally, the PatchWall OS offers easy access to more than 25 streaming services, including Disney +, Prime Video, Netflix, and more.

The Mi TV 4A 40 Horizon Edition will be on sale from 2 June (for now only in India) at the starting price of 23,999 rupees.
